Nestled in the heart of the Dominican Republic, Tabacalera El Hoyito stands as a testament to craftsmanship, tradition, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Founded on the legacy of Marcelo Gómez, a pioneer in handcrafting cigars for export in Tamboril since the mid-1960s, the factory has grown into one of the greatest artisanal establishments in the Cibao region.
In 1978, Marcelo Gómez embarked on his own journey, establishing a family-led project in the cigar industry. With the support and dedication of his children, this passion for cigars became a lifelong pursuit, passed down through generations and ingrained in the very fabric of Tabacalera El Hoyito.
